Title: Manapiare woman in doorway Location: Manapiare Country: Venezuela Notes: I had lugged my heavy bags of photographic and camping gear into the little guesthouse. As the three of us came in, the woman who had been sweeping the floor, took a break in the breezy doorway. I bent over to release the weight of my gear on the floor and wriggle out of the straps. From my upside position, I saw the tropical heat of the day outside contrasted with the cooling shine of the inside floor, all depicted and framed beautifully by the woman's silhouette. Still tangled in my many bag and camera straps, I grabbed my little digital and quickly caught the moment with a big smile from my awkward position.
