This spectacular waterfall was hidden deep in the rain forest behind a remote farm. The owner of the farm only travels to and from his farm by his single engine airplane, as the roads built by the government to colonize the south were washed out within one year, during the rainy season. We arrived via bongo (a stable form of dugout canoe) up the Parucito tributary of the Manapiare River, up-river from the small town of San Juan de Manapiare.
