Subject notes: An ice storm, followed by sleet and a blizzard, coated everything with a thick layer of ice and snow. The locals said they hadn't seen such a storm, and its resultant beauty, in many years. I took other pictures during this time, including one of an upclose view of ice crystals coating pine needles
