It is free to camp on the beach at El Poncho, there are no facilities but the nearest running water is only around 400 metres west along the road at a quite picturesque waterfall. The mini-mercado here offers fresh fruit, staple foods, cigarettes and both alcoholic and soft drinks. From El Poncho, buses run to Osorno, leaving at 6am and 2pm every day except Sunday, when it only leaves once at 2pm. The cost to ride to Osorno is 1900 pesos per person and takes around three hours.
