b. Trumao turnoff (don't take it) to Pilpilcahuin turnoff

The junction with a turning to Trumao is well signed and difficult to miss. Don't take the turn, but instead continue straight ahead as the road to Trumao splits off to the left.

This section of road is lined with eucalyptus groves and small farms. Most of the traffic is now logging trucks with the occasional 4x4 and rarely a bus.
