aa. End of the path from Argentina

The path ends in a gravel road with a jungle road feel to it. It's well graded and works it's way to the main highway with few turns through the valley. Steep mountains on either side with dense vegetation offer little in the way of distant views but are all the more imposing for it. A couple of small streams cross the road. There are campsites at either end of the road, we opted for neither and camped in some raspberries about 50 metres back from the road end.
